House of Bamboo

What a great experience I just had at House of Bamboo. The overall beauty of the house and the incredible views are one aspect, but what makes this place truly special is its privacy. This is something that is unique to any any form of accommodation in Fiji. You can literally do whatever you want without anyone watching you. You are fully self catered but you can also have the staff cook for you. They are very friendly and knowledgable and will come and cook and clean on request, but apart from that, this incredible house is all yours. You are close to Cousteau resort (around 50m away) if you want to pop in for a cocktail and dinner or head to Savusavu town to see all the beautiful cruising yachts that use this safe harbour to stay between international cruising.. Plus the house has style. Serious style. It looks like something out of Vogue Living magazine and for its price is amazing value. You can have two couples stay here as there is separate upstairs and downstairs bedrooms with its own bathroom. We spent the days seeing this incredible island, still pristine, wild and dramatic, yet with all modern services like ANZ and Westpac banks, as well as went on some amazing dives. We caught a wahoo the size of me, which we fought for over an hour. At night we cooked the fish on our bbq and went for midnight skinny dips in the pool. This is by far the best holiday experience I have had. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Pod House

The Pod House was even more than we expected! House is situated in a beautiful location, lush tropical gardens and awesome view of the ocean. Decor and craftsmanship of the house was impeccable, light fixtures were especially interesting. Our stay was also highlighted by the staff who made an authentic Fijian meal with the fish we caught that day. The grounds keeper set us up with the best fishing guide in Savusavu. Bula Bula to Brad and Therese for providing a wonderful vacation experience, one that we will never forget.
